claude-gmail-ro is a personal tool used by one person, its owner, to read their own Gmail mailbox.
Through the Gmail API with the gmail.readonly scope: message headers, message bodies and attachments of the owner's own mailbox. It cannot send, modify or delete anything.
The program runs on the owner's own computer. Messages are read on request and shown to the owner through an AI assistant the owner operates; attachments the owner chooses to download are saved on the owner's computer. The tool operates no servers and shares no data with third parties. OAuth tokens are stored locally on the owner's device.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
